HSL technology is capable of high-speed deterministic scan times of 2016 digital I/O points in 1 ms per HSL master port. Each master port connects slave modules easily in series using off-the-shelf CAT-5 cables and RJ45 plugs. Transmission lengths can reach up to 2400 meters from the host PC. Industrial or commercial PC computer equipped with PCI master card can work as a Master controller unit. In more demanding applications it is recommended to use GEME series embedded computer equipped with PMC master card or DPAC series Distributed Programmable Automation Controller which integrates HSL interface, Windows XP Embedded operating system and DLL libraries. Available is a big choice of digital and analog I/O slave modules, thermocouple input modules and motion controller modules.
